Additionally, the study seeks to highlight the leniency of Islam in granting husbands the opportunity to temporarily separate from their wives through the practice of &#8220;Ila,&#8221; as an alternative to divorce, providing them with a means of emotional release and respite. It should be noted that &#8220;Ila,&#8221; even if it extends to its maximum duration of four months, does not constitute divorce, and after this period, the husband must either divorce or be compelled to do so. &#8220;Ila&#8221;
