This study was conducted in the Jabal Al-Akhdar region on January 10, 2024, by conducting a questionnaire for workers and residents near the treatment plants. The study included 13 treatment plants, which are the treatment plants (Omar Al-Mukhtar, Qandula, Marawa, Qasr Libya, Messah, Islanta, Qarnada, Al-Qayqab, Sousse, North Al-Bayda, and Mansoura). Likewise, some residents, at a rate of 61.6%, said that the stations emit unpleasant and annoying odors, while the residents\u2019 awareness of the seriousness of environmental pollution was at a rate of 64.3%, as well as the residents\u2019 satisfaction with the presence of the treatment plants.
