Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

       The research aimed to identify the degree of influence that societal variables have on the transformation of Yemeni universities into smart universities. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher employed a descriptive survey methodology and applied a questionnaire consisting of 24 items to a purposive sample of 22 experts in Yemeni universities, using the Delphi technique. The data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods, and the study yielded several key findings. The most notable result was that the level of agreement on the impact of societal variables on the transformation of Yemeni universities into smart universities was very high, with an overall mean score of 4.40 and a standard deviation of 0.461. Based on the values of the fields, the ranking (in descending order) was as follows: technological factors, social\/cultural factors, political\/legal factors, and economic factors. Additionally, the results indicated no statistically significant differences at a 0.05 significance level between expert responses on the impact of societal variables on the transformation of Yemeni universities into smart universities based on the variables of (specialization and years of experience).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
