The study explains the concept of liability in both linguistic and terminological contexts, the meaning of the Hadith <em>\u201cAl-\u2018Ajma\u2019 Jubar\u201d<\/em> (the liability of an animal\u2019s harm is waived), and defines liability and its causes, such as contracts, possession, damage, obstruction, and deceit. It also outlines its conditions, including harm, negligence, and causation. Furthermore, the research examines the liability for damages caused by animals during the day and night, discusses the views of the four Islamic schools of thought on the matter, and extends the analogy of crop damage to other damages. The study also explores contemporary applications, such as modern vehicles, including cars, and evaluates their analogy to the Prophetic Hadith.
