dir=\"ltr\">Abstract<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">Legumes are an important source for enhancing nutritional value\u060c as they can be used to produce new and innovative food products that reduce reliance on animal-based foods. Chickpeas and Cawpea are among the most important legumes rich in essential nutrients. This study aims to evaluate the nutritional value of these two legume varieties by analyzing their chemical composition\u060c with a focus on major and minor mineral elements. The results show that chickpeas contain a high percentage of fat and fiber\u060c at 4.947% and 10.140%\u060c respectively. On the other hand\u060c Cawpea are a good source of protein\u060c with a protein content of 31.975%. Both legumes are also rich in mineral nutrients\u060c particularly iron\u060c potassium\u060c calcium\u060c magnesium\u060c phosphorus\u060c sodium\u060c and zinc. However\u060c the concentrations of different mineral elements were found to be nutritionally unbalanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Keywords: Legumes\u060c
