dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Extract:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">This study is based on an attempt to monitor the poetics of place, and the manifestations of the presence of the city of Jerusalem in the poetry collection of the poet Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ashmawi: Jerusalem You, through a careful reading of the poem: Jerusalem You, which bears the title of the collection itself, as my reading draws from the \u201caesthetic of reception,\u201d which makes it an open proposal and not A closed or final model, because the multiplicity of readings and interpretations frees criticism from the authority of the model and gives reading renewed creative energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">Therefore, I do not claim to comprehensively cover all the manifestations of the place and its dimensions, as much as I aim to draw attention to the aesthetic presence of Jerusalem in the poetry of Dr. Abdel Rahman Al-Ashmawy, and to approach some of the connotations of this presence and its effects on the poet and the recipient, in order to contribute to highlighting the poet\u2019s efforts in poetic creativity, and revealing the manifestations of It
