class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abstract:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study aimed to evaluate the impact of psychological counseling on improving mental health among adolescent students in the Atma region of Idlib, Syria. The sample consisted of 200 male and female students selected randomly from a community of 3,739 students aged between 13 and 18 years. A questionnaire comprising 30 items distributed across five domains was utilized, and the descriptive analytical method was employed for data collection and analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The results indicated that psychological counseling had a significant positive impact on improving mental health, with the domain related to quality of life achieving the highest mean score (3.95). This suggests its beneficial effect on enhancing the balance of various aspects of adolescents&#8217; lives, such as studies, social relationships, and daily activities. It shows that psychological counseling equips students with the necessary skills to manage life pressures and challenges, thereby enhancing their sense of achievement and psychological well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conversely, the impact of psychological counseling on anxiety was ranked last (3.77), indicating a positive effect, albeit lower than that of the other domains. This may reflect the reality that anxiety among adolescents requires more time and special attention for effective intervention, given its association with multiple factors such as social pressures and academic performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, no statistically significant differences were found between the average scores of males and females regarding the impact of psychological counseling, reflecting the effectiveness of counseling as a comprehensive tool that is not gender-dependent. This suggests that the psychological issues faced by adolescents are common, allowing psychological counseling to be beneficial for both genders equally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study recommends several proposals, including enhancing psychological counseling programs in schools and community centers, developing specific strategies for managing anxiety among students, and designing counseling programs tailored to different age groups. It also advises increasing the number of counseling sessions, as results indicated that adolescents receiving three or more sessions benefited more significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, it is recommended to integrate psychological counseling into the school curriculum, involve parents in educational workshops, and utilize modern techniques such as digital applications. These findings underscore the importance of psychological counseling in improving adolescents&#8217; mental health, emphasizing the need to tailor programs to meet diverse needs, ultimately
