the economic aspect of the Ayyubid state, focusing on the role of Saladin (Salah ad-Din) in establishing a robust economy that contributed to military victories against the Crusades. Using a historical-descriptive methodology, the study analyzes economic activities such as domestic and foreign trade, agriculture, industry, and financial management. The findings reveal that the Ayyubid economy flourished through organized trade routes, specialized markets, agricultural and industrial advancements, and efficient financial systems relying on diverse resources like zakat (Islamic tax) and kharaj (land tax). The study emphasizes that Saladin was not merely a military leader but an administrative visionary who invested in infrastructure, education, and healthcare, thereby building a resilient state capable
