Using a structured questionnaire, data were collected from 116 third- and fourth-year medical students and 16 lecturers to identify the most pressing writing needs in English for Medical Purposes (EMP). The findings highlight the importance of aligning EMP writing materials with real-world communicative tasks such as clinical reporting, research writing, and documentation for humanitarian agencies. The study offers practical recommendations for integrating NA into curriculum development to enhance writing proficiency and learner satisfaction in conflict-affected educational
