Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This study aimed to analyze the impact of the spread of drugs and psychoactive substances on the future of Palestinian youth in the West Bank by examining the relationship between drug prevalence (extent of spread, causes of abuse, institutional response) and the future of youth (educational, economic\/professional, and social\/behavioral dimensions). The study employed a descriptive analytical methodology and was applied to a stratified random sample of (384) young men and women drawn from a study population estimated at approximately (534,000) Palestinian youth aged 18\u201329 years in the West Bank. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire and analyzed using the SPSS program. The findings revealed that drug proliferation is a significant factor influencing the future of youth, explaining (31.8%) of the overall variance in youth outcomes. The strongest impact was observed in the educational dimension (77.3%), followed by the social and behavioral dimension (63.1%), and then the economic and professional dimension (29.8%). In light of these findings, the study recommends designing preventive programs targeting youth in schools and universities, establishing psychological and social support units, launching vocational rehabilitation initiatives, and strengthening institutional coordination to develop a national strategy to combat the phenomenon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
