ABSTRACT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This paper examines the key aspects of empowering women with disabilities in Saudi Arabia, as outlined in Vision 2030. The Kingdom has demonstrated significant progress in implementing the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which came into effect on May 3, 2008. This commitment is evident in the emphasis on equality in healthcare and social services, guaranteeing the rights to education, legal proceedings, and community inclusion, and ensuring participation in sports, cultural, and recreational activities. A crucial aspect of this empowerment is the growing focus on inclusive education for women with disabilities. Saudi Arabia has made notable strides in integrating female students with disabilities into mainstream schools. This includes adapting curricula to meet diverse learning needs, providing specialized educational programs and support services (social and psychological), and ensuring access to necessary assistive technologies. In the realm of employment and social care, significant efforts have been made to promote the inclusion of women with disabilities. The “Tawafuq<\/strong>” program aims to increase employment opportunities for women with disabilities and encourage businesses to hire them. Legislation protecting women from harassment fosters safer and more inclusive workplaces. Financial assistance is provided to families caring for women with disabilities, and there has been a notable increase in the establishment and support of organizations and centers that offer care and rehabilitation programs, along with improvements in the quality of services provided. Furthermore, women with disabilities benefit from comprehensive healthcare services, including preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and logistical support. This paper will provide a detailed exploration of these multifaceted efforts to empower women with disabilities in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
