Abstract:  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This study aims to assess the actual impact of tourism festivals on stimulating tourism activity in Shendi Locality through an applied case study of the Nile Festival for Tourism and Shopping across its nine editions. A descriptive-analytical approach was employed, and primary data was collected using a structured questionnaire administered to 200 participants, including visitors, tourism sector employees, and festival organizers, in addition to local officials. Data was analyzed using advanced statistical techniques in SPSS to validate the hypotheses and examine the relationships among variables. The findings indicate that the festival plays a significant role in enhancing tourism activity, improving destination promotion, and increasing community awareness of tourism, while also contributing to local economic revitalization. However, the results reveal that security and economic constraints, coupled with weak institutional coordination, impede the festival\u2019s sustainability. The study recommends adopting a sustainable organizational and promotional framework, strengthening community and institutional partnerships, and allocating a permanent venue to ensure the continuity and long-term impact of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
