class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This research addresses the crime of intentional homicide as one of the most serious offenses that violate the fundamental human right to life\u2014a right protected by both Islamic law and modern legislation. Intentional murder is treated with utmost severity in Islamic jurisprudence and receives considerable attention in criminal laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study aims to explore the concept of intentional killing in Islamic jurisprudence and the Sudanese Criminal Act of 1991, identifying its elements, classifications, and prescribed punishments. It focuses on the similarities and differences between Sharia and statutory law in terms of proving the crime and determining the appropriate penalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research adopts an analytical and comparative approach, analyzing both legal and religious texts, reviewing judicial applications, and comparing selected case precedents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study concludes that Islamic jurisprudence precisely classifies homicide into intentional, quasi-intentional, and accidental, while imposing strict conditions for retribution (qisas) and legal safeguards.
