Abstract<\/strong>
This research article, entitled \u201cThe Responsibility of the Islamic System in Preventing Vices,\u201d is conducted using the library-based research method and examines the religious, administrative, and social responsibilities of the Islamic system in preventing vices within Islamic society. Drawing upon the Qur\u2019an, the Prophetic Sunnah, and classical juristic sources, the study analyzes the role, authority, and obligations of an Islamic government in this domain. The significance of the research stems from the need to establish a pure, sound society grounded in Islamic values. Its primary objective is to clarify legitimate and practical mechanisms for effectively combating vices. The findings indicate that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has undertaken fundamental and effective measures in the prevention of vices. These measures include the establishment of institutions for legislation and hisbah(moral oversight), reforming the content of the educational and academic system, implementing mechanisms of social supervision through muhtasibs, and regulating penalties for offenders within the framework of Islamic legal principles.
