In addition, morphometric characteristics and length\u2013weight relationships were determined. The results revealed that the lead concentration in the muscle tissue of <em>S. rivulatus<\/em> (0.185 mg\/kg) exceeded the permissible limit of 0.03 mg\/kg, whereas the remaining values were close to this threshold. The higher lead accumulation observed in muscle tissue compared to the liver may be attributed to the liver\u2019s detoxification capacity, possible redistribution of lead within the body, and the duration of exposure. Correlation analysis between liver and muscle lead concentrations showed both positive and negative relationships. The descending order of lead concentrations was as follows: <em>S. rivulatus<\/em> muscle &gt; <em>S. luridus<\/em> muscle &gt; <em>S. luridus<\/em> liver &gt; <em>S. rivulatus<\/em> liver. Morphometric analysis indicated general similarity between the two species, with minor differences in coloration and body shape. The mean total length and body weight were 17.56 cm and 0.64 kg for <em>S. rivulatus<\/em>, and 18.41 cm and 0.48 kg for <em>S. luridus<\/em>.
