\u02bfIlm al-Bad\u012b\u02bf as one of the fundamental branches of Arabic rhetoric concerned with enhancing discourse after ensuring the soundness of meaning and its conformity to the requirements of context. The paper traces the historical development of this discipline from its early foundations with Ibn al-Mu\u02bftazz, through the contributions of Ab\u016b Hil\u0101l al-\u02bfAskar\u012b, Ibn Rash\u012bq, and \u02bfAbd al-Q\u0101hir al-Jurj\u0101n\u012b, until its systematic classification was established by al-Sakk\u0101k\u012b and al-Qazw\u012bn\u012b into semantic and verbal rhetorical devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study focuses on semantic embellishments, such as antithesis (\u1e6dib\u0101q), contrast (muq\u0101bala), morphological or semantic parallelism (mush\u0101kala), paronomasia with hidden meaning (tawriya), and hyperbole (mub\u0101lagha), highlighting their rhetorical functions in clarifying meaning, reinforcing emphasis, stimulating intellectual engagement, and intensifying emotional and imagistic impact. It also addresses verbal embellishments, particularly paronomasia (jin\u0101s) and rhyme in prose (saj\u02bf), elucidating their role in creating rhythmic harmony, phonetic beauty, and expressive coherence within discourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study demonstrates that rhetorical embellishments are not merely ornamental features, but rather essential semantic and aesthetic components that have played a significant role in revealing the inimitability of the Qur\u2019an. Through their contribution to linguistic precision, semantic density, and psychological influence, these devices enhance both meaning and form. The paper concludes that rhetorical analysis of Bad\u012b\u02bf devices provides deeper insight into their expressive potential and their ability to integrate aesthetic elegance with semantic depth,
