Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The present research discussed the prophet\u2019s mercy to the vulnerable; children, women, the sick, the poor, the slaves and the elderly people. The research studied objectively real examples narrated in the Sunah and analyzed them for their lessons. The analysis showed that his mercy had been a comprehensive and integrated method which combined care and protection, support and education as well as reform. The researcher adopted the analytical deductive method and documentation of the Hadith connecting them with contemporary applications for the rights of the vulnerable. The most important findings of the research are; the texts from the prophetic Sunah have shown Islam care for the vulnerable and the communities where mercy is dominant is stronger and more stable and that the prophet\u2019s mercy is not mere emotion but a practical behaviour to deal with the vulnerable on daily basis. Based on the findings, the research recommended that diligent researchers should conduct further research on the prophet biography that enhances the humanitarian values in the society and strengthen the values of solidarity among the people. There should also be an initiative to lend a hand in times of catastrophes and crisis as well as establish solidarity funds to offer help when needed.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
