class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This study aimed to identify the level of problem-solving style use among secondary school students from their perspectives, and to examine the significance of differences in the level of using this style according to the variables of gender, grade level, and number of daily study hours. The descriptive\u2013analytical method was adopted due to its suitability for the nature and objectives of the study, as it enables describing and analyzing the phenomenon under investigation based on field data. The study sample consisted of 300 male and female secondary school students from schools in Azaz city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, Syrian Arab Republic, during the academic year (2024\u20132025), including 144 males and 156 females. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used a questionnaire to measure students\u2019 problem-solving style. The instrument consisted of 11 items distributed across two main dimensions: confidence and effectiveness in problem solving, and creative solutions and cooperation in problem solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The results of the study revealed that the overall level of problem-solving style use among secondary school students was moderate, with an overall mean score of 2.83, representing approximately 56.6% of the total scale score. The findings also showed that the dimension of confidence and effectiveness in problem solving reached approximately 60.6% among males and 61% among females, while the dimension of creative solutions and cooperation in problem solving reached about 52.8% among males and 52.2% among females, indicating a moderate level of students\u2019 use of problem-solving strategies. In addition, the results revealed no statistically significant differences in problem-solving style according to the gender variable, as the probability value reached 0.968, indicating a similar level of use of this style among male and female students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In light of these results, the study recommended enhancing the use of problem-solving strategies in the educational process by training students in analytical and critical thinking skills, integrating activities that develop these skills into school curricula, and developing school counseling programs
