The research aims to clarify the concept and function of fatwa as a form of juristic reasoning and to analyze the extent to which artificial intelligence can replicate the foundational mechanisms of legal deduction, including textual interpretation, contextual analysis, and consideration of the objectives of Islamic law (maq\u0101\u1e63id al-shar\u012b\u02bfah). The study further highlights key u\u1e63\u016bl\u012b challenges, such as the absence of juristic intuition, the inability of AI systems to fully grasp contextual realities, and potential errors in applying rulings to specific cases. The research concludes that artificial intelligence cannot function as an independent mufti; rather, it may serve as an auxiliary tool under strict scholarly supervision. It emphasizes the necessity of regulating sources, distinguishing between legal information and binding fatwas, and maintaining human oversight.
