It aimed to identify the level of digital isolation among university students, explore its relationship with mental health and social interaction, and detect differences in it according to the variables of gender, college, and age. The researcher adopted the descriptive-analytical method, and the study was applied to a random sample of (320) male and female students from Al-Zaytoonah International University, drawn from a population of (1600) students, distributed as 51.3% males versus 48.8% females, 49.4% from theoretical colleges versus 50.6% from scientific colleges, and 58.4% under 22 years old versus 41.6% aged 22 and above. The researcher relied on the Digital Isolation Scale, consisting of (21) items distributed across four dimensions (digital behaviors and habits, feelings and psychological effects, relationships and social interaction, self-awareness and desire for change), with a Cronbach&#8217;s alpha reliability coefficient of (0.895). The results showed that the overall level of digital isolation was moderate (3.40), with the feelings and psychological effects dimension ranking first (3.48), while the relationships and social interaction dimension ranked last (3.24). No significant differences were found attributable to gender or college, whereas significant differences were found in favor of the younger age group (under 22). Additionally, in a pilot sample, 74% reported an increase in psychological isolation, 68% reported weakened social interaction, and 59% reported increased anxiety and stress. The study recommended building balanced digital learning environments that take mental health and social interaction into account, with particular attention to younger students and those exhibiting
