Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a self-directed learning-based training program in developing cognitive achievement within teachers’ professional competencies in light of the requirements of the digital age in Idlib Governorate, in response to the growing need to enhance teachers’ digital skills and keep pace with contemporary educational transformations. The study sample consisted of (32) male and female basic education teachers in Idlib, selected using purposive sampling. In addition, a pilot sample of (40) teachers was used to verify the validity and reliability of the research instruments. The study adopted a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pre-test, post-test, and delayed-test approach.
To achieve the study objectives, a self-directed learning-based training program was developed, along with an achievement test to measure digital professional competencies and a needs assessment questionnaire. The validity and reliability indicators showed strong psychometric properties, with a reliability coefficient of (0.934) for the test and Cronbach’s Alpha of (0.917), indicating suitability for application.
The results revealed statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test in favor of the post-test, as the overall mean increased from (12.97) to (44.47), with a t-value of (43.508) and a significance level of (0.000). Moreover, the program achieved a modified gain ratio according to Black’s formula of (1.32), exceeding the benchmark value (1.2), which confirms its effectiveness. In contrast, no statistically significant differences were found between the post-test and delayed test (t = 1.245, p = 0.222), indicating the retention of learning effects over time. The study recommended generalizing self-directed learning-based training programs, developing digital platforms for sustainable professional development, and integrating digital competencies into teacher performance evaluation standards in light of the requirements of the digital age.

الملخص
هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعلية برنامج تدريبي قائم على التعلم الذاتي في تنمية التحصيل المعرفي في مجال الكفايات المهنية للمعلمين في ضوء متطلبات العصر الرقمي في محافظة إدلب، وذلك في ظل الحاجة المتزايدة إلى تطوير مهارات المعلمين الرقمية ومواكبة التحولات التربوية الحديثة. إذ تكونت عينة الدراسة من (32) معلماً ومعلمة من معلمي المرحلة الأساسية في محافظة إدلب، تم اختيارهم بأسلوب العينة القصدية، كما تم استخدام عينة استطلاعية مكونة من (40) معلماً ومعلمة للتحقق من صدق أدوات الدراسة وثباتها. واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي بتصميم المجموعة الواحدة ذات القياس القبلي والبعدي والمؤجل.
ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم بناء برنامج تدريبي قائم على التعلم الذاتي، إضافة إلى اختبار تحصيلي لقياس الكفايات المهنية الرقمية، واستبانة احتياجات. وقد أظهرت مؤشرات الصدق والثبات ارتفاعاً جيداً للأدوات، حيث بلغ معامل ثبات الاختبار (0.934) ومعامل ثبات ألفا كرونباخ (0.917)، مما يدل على صلاحيتها للتطبيق.
وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين القياسين القبلي والبعدي لصالح البعدي، حيث ارتفع المتوسط الكلي من (12.97) إلى (44.47) وبلغت قيمة (ت = 43.508، دلالة = 0.000)، كما حقق البرنامج نسبة كسب معدلة وفق بلاك بلغت (1.32)، وهي أعلى من القيمة المعيارية (1.2)، مما يدل على فاعليته. في المقابل، لم تظهر فروق دالة بين القياس البعدي والمؤجل (ت = 1.245، دلالة = 0.222)، مما يشير إلى بقاء أثر التعلم. وأوصت الدراسة بتعميم البرامج التدريبية القائمة على التعلم الذاتي، وتطوير منصات رقمية للتنمية المهنية المستدامة، ودمج الكفايات الرقمية ضمن معايير تقويم أداء المعلمين في ضوء متطلبات العصر الرقمي.
